NYT Suggests Terrorist Doctor Wanted To Murder Innocent People Because He Was 'Fretful About His Welcome In English Society'
A piece in the NYT on Mohammed Asha, the Jordanian-trained doctor arrested in the UK terrorist plot, authored by "Serge F. Kovaleski and Hassan M. Fattah" (surely - no bias expected, right? Just fair and balanced reporting), not only sugar coats the jihadist (okay, alleged jihadi Islamonazi), but attempts to paint the Asha as having been racially discriminated against. Good reason for wanting to kill people, right? Kovaleski and Fattah begin their piece by saying that Asha was "proud of his career accomplishments" but fretful about his welcome in English society" and say that he was arrested "but not charged,"... ... more

CNN's 'Day Of Mourning For America'
Yesterday when I got home and turned on CNN I thought that some new unimaginable catastrophe had once again befallen our country. It seemed a day of mourning. Anderson Cooper spoke in muted tones and with a stern visage, the mood of the commentators was somber and the interchange restrained as if funereal, and you would have sworn CNN was flying the American flag at half-mast outside their studios - were it not for the fact that deeming themselves an "International News Organization with no quaint patriotic affiliations" I doubt they fly an American flag anyway, but had they flown... ... morePosted at 11:49 AM

Nine Days After Al-Qaeda Torture Images Released, Media Silent On al-Qaeda Torture House
... Yet the top media ran more than 6,000 stories on Abu Ghraib abuses:ALEXANDRIA, VA--The U.S. Defense Department released photos last week of an al-Qaeda torture chamber in Iraq, which showed various torture tools--blow torches, meat cleavers, hammers, drills, metal files--drawings of torture methods, and photos of actual victims found in another house in Karmah who had been burned, mutilated, and tortured in myriad ways. To their credit, CNN and Fox News Channel ran stories on the declassified material. Yet nine days since the material was released, neither ABC, CBS, NBC, The New York Times nor The Washington Post has... ... morePosted at 12:52 PM

Something Is Very Rotten At CNN
I'm willing to wager with great confidence that Atlas Shrugs is right. As Atlas Shrugs suggests, not only are the odds highly likely that CNN used Arab and/or Muslim "translators" to challenge the MEMRI and Palestinian Media Watch translation of the Hamas Mickey Mouse jihad video, and downplay the FACT that Hamas is using using a replica of Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse to preach Islamic radicalism and hate to Palestinian children - if you listen to the CNN video clip carefully, CNN actually says so. [The actual clip from MEMRI is here...] Even worse, CNN even uses the Palestinian Information... ... morePosted at 10:22 PM

Absolutely Incredible 'Revised' AP Headline: Hamas Mouse Preaches 'Resistance'
As we wrote in our previous post on the original AP story: "In yet another clear sign that Palestinian society is not now and never will be, ready for nationhood - at least for the next few generations, Itamar Marcus and Barbara Crook at Palestinian Media Watch report that Hamas Television is using a clone of Disney's Mickey Mouse to teach children to hate Israel and America, and aspire to Islam's inevitable and impending world domination. The title of the AP story we referred to was, "Hamas 'Mickey Mouse' wants Islam takeover." But that was before the AP changed it's... ... morePosted at 7:58 PM

What Liberal Slant In The Media?
For starts, this one (hat tip - Douglas L who emailed this in): An email going around the Internet points out that since the start of the war on terror in Iraq and Afghanistan, the sacrifice has been enormous. In the time period from the invasion of Iraq in March 2003 through now, we have lost a total of 3,140 soldiers. As tragic as the loss of any soldier is, consider this: below is a list of deaths of soldiers while actively serving in the armed forces from 1980 through 2004. What you will see is the exact opposite of... ... morePosted at 11:22 AM | Comments (1)

Contact your Congressman To Attend April 25 Screening Of "Islam Vs. The Islamists"
Via Gates of Vienna comes very good advice about what we should do about PBS' homage to Islamism in their recently aired so-called "documentary" (part of a PBS series called "America at a Crossroads"). It is supposedly intended to chronicle "the diversity of Muslim life in America" but gives an abundance of face time to anti-American Islamists and none to secular Muslims who want to reform Islam. Instead, extremists masquerading as moderates are lionized: Please contact your Senator or Representative and ask them to attend a special showing Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at 6:30 pm in Room 2247 Rayburn House... ... morePosted at 9:17 AM

PBS In Islamist Wonderland: It's 'The Muslim Americans' Little More Than A Puff Piece For Radical Islam
Over the weekend, one of my Muslim friends told me about last Wednesday's PBS aired "The Muslim Americans," a documentary film that had been heavily promoted as one of the highlights of "Crossroads," the station's new 11-part series about post-9/11 America. I was able to obtain a video that another friend had recorded, and watched the film last night. As Alex Alexiev offers in his piece at FrontPage magazine today, "Given its subject of Islam in America and the fact that it is produced by two icons of American public television, series host and moderator Robin McNeil and the PBS... ... morePosted at 9:08 AM

Update On The Imus Catastrophe Endangering The Survival of Humanity And The Future Of Our Planet!
Move over "Global Warming"! The media has a new far more ominous and devastating development to follow! Gaging by all the uproar and the coverage on the news networks, you'd think that we must now be at Defcon-2; there is turmoil and angry mobs on every Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard across the nation, the President has had to call in on the already strained National Guard to calm the black rioters looting big screen TVs and other fancy electronics, in protest of course, from ransacked Best Buy and Circuit City stores, and setting fire to cars (after meticulously stripping... ... morePosted at 8:14 PM | Comments (1)

Who is Amorita Randall?
She's not who the New York Times said she was last week in its profile of troubled women soldiers who have served Iraq. Michelle Malkin welcomes Amorita to the Jesse MacBeth/Micah Wright/Jimmy Massey liars' club. Now the Times claims it is now clear that Ms. Randall did not serve in Iraq, but may have become convinced she did? Perhaps in the same way that Gateway Pundit is convinced he played for the Houston Rockets! And Amorita says she was raped? A blind elephant would be more discerning.... ... morePosted at 4:02 PM

Israeli Journalist Says Israel Should Use Blogs To Get Truth Out Past Biased Media
Us folks that frequent the blogosphere and participate in it are well aware of the the mainstream media's disgusting and disgraceful habit of virtually parroting Arab propaganda - often word for word (and vice versa in the case of the Democrat's agenda). Now, Michael Freund of the Jerusalem Post (ht - Jeremayakovka and Debbie Schlussel) is saying that Israel should reach out to its many supporters in cyberspace, and especially in the blogosphere, for help in disseminating the truth and better counter the Arab propaganda machine: .... [The blogs'] reach is enormous, and their influence is growing rapidly. According to... ... morePosted at 12:53 PM | Comments (1)

Did they really say that?
Tim at Hyscience asks if a transparently honest New York Times article make it to press? Check it out:Mostly, we have sided with America's enemies because we can. We remain grateful and mystified that, despite Mr. Chimpy McHitlerburton's creation of a fascist police state in America, in which civil rights have been trampled on and the open honest dissent of people like Cindy Sheehan and John Murtha has resulted in their imprisonment in the hated Crusader Gulag of Guantanamo, we, at the New York Times, have somehow remained at large, in open and treasonous support of the enemies of this... ... morePosted at 5:30 AM

Hezbo-Laa-Laa: Cute Little Terrortubby
Truth from The Broom of Truth: In an effort to finalize the portrayal of Hezbollah as a benevolent band of misunderstood peasant warriors, and to foster acceptance of other cultures, the BBC retooled its cutest Teletubby character named Laa-laa into Hezbo-Laa-Laa. Sporting a characteristic martyr bandana with the motto "From cradle to grave" written in Arabic, and a suicide belt filled nails and rat poison, this cute and cuddly Terrortubby is intended to show European and American kids that beyond its desire to exterminate the Jew, Hezbollah is, in fact, a caring playmate that will tend to your social needs... ... morePosted at 3:13 PM

Media Gives Ahmadinejad A Pass
3 Questions: How does one "negotiate" with a radical ideologue committed to world domination? How does one even talk with followers of an ideology that are dedicated to world domination and that a guy is going to come out of a well and lead them to the apocolypse? How does one carry out a rational discussion with people that aren't rational?

TV News Critic: We're Silent On Steve Centanni's Life or Death Peril Because We Don't Like Fox (Updated)
Update: Be sure to checkout Flopping Aces for much more info. More Reuters Hypocrisy
Yesterday, Reuters published a damning article on exonerated U.S. Marine Cpl. Josh Belile. The 'writer' used terms like; obscenity-laced and cheering crowd of fellow troops in Iraq making light of killing Iraqis to describe the song,"Hadji Girl". Today, they are literally singing the praises of Aki Nawaz, a muslim musician that pens songs glorifying 'suicide bombers'. Reuters' Opening Paragraphs: Muslim musician in Britain faces album controversy A Muslim musician living in Britain said on Wednesday that two directors at his record label had threatened to resign if he released a new album describing suicide bombers and the West's immorality. An example of Spanish MSM bias
I have reviewed Spanish MSM regarding the murder of the US Marines on Iraq. The perspectives are not very promising. The reviewed MSM are the more important ones in Spain and have not treated at all this issue while were mad about Guantánamo or the missile alert about North Korea (with one exception: Conservative paper LA RAZÓn has treated it on front-page of their on-line edition). I know that the Spanish MSM are very worried about the negotiaiton with ETA, but as you see in the post, the point is that the demonstration of 1000 people in Vienna against Bush... ... morePosted at 4:29 PM | Comments (3)

Terrorism's Greatest Ally
Islamic terrorism's greatest ally is the biased ignorant Democratic MEDIA. Read this article from the New York Post: JOURNALISM'S MORAL COLLAPSE By Ralph Peters December 5, 2005 -- A SPECTER is haunting journalism: the specter of Watergate. Three decades ago, two young reporters became the story and crippled American journalism. Budding yuppies who avoided inconvenient service to the state needed heroes they could call their own. And they got them. Robert Redford and Dustin Hoffman played Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein on-screen. It was as if Mike Bloomberg was portrayed by Brad Pitt.
