Israel -- to fight, or not to fight
A very disturbing situation with Israel and Hezbollah today. No one seems to know what in the world Israel is thinking, ... or doing. Even intelligence experts are baffled. Are they going to fight and win, or is Israel going to agree to the cease fire. The decision will be made this weekend. Why is Resupplying Israel Suddenly a Bad Idea?
The New York Times compares the United States to Iran in an article that undermines the planned U.S. supply of Israel:The decision to quickly ship the weapons to Israel was made with relatively little debate within the Bush administration, the officials said. Its disclosure threatens to anger Arab governments and others because of the appearance that the United States is actively aiding the Israeli bombing campaign in a way that could be compared to Iran's efforts to arm and resupply Hezbollah. The ridiculous comparison is accented by the paper's sole use of anonymous sources and implicit bias against resupplying an American... ... morePosted at 3:52 AM | Comments (1)
