North Korean Diplomatic Strategy A Carbon Copy Of Iran's

This, is suppose to be some kind of revelaition?

For years North Korea has supplied Iran with missile technology, and late last year the White House told American intelligence agencies to evaluate the danger that the North Koreans might be tempted to sell their nuclear expertise -- or a bomb's worth of plutonium -- to the Iranians.

But in the past few days, it has become clear that the two countries are also pursuing similar diplomatic strategies. North Korea's threat to launch a long-range ballistic missile seems a clear echo of Iran's recent strategy of resuming production of nuclear fuel. Iran was aiming to extract concessions from the Bush administration, and it has already won some modest diplomatic gains.

What a mess, and guess which country learned from the other!

Let this be a lesson in delaying a strike early on before a roque terrorist-supporting country with a delusional leader develops nuclear weapons. Of course we wouldn't be having to deal with this issue if Bill Clinton hadn't listened to his aides William Perry and Ashton Carter, who were, respectively, his secretary and assistant secretary of defense, who are now saying, using a bit of historical revisionism, "If North Korea persists in its launch preparations, the United States should immediately make clear its intention to strike and destroy the North Korean Taepodong missile before it can be launched."

So, what about Iran? Now or later? Let's see - take care of a problem now, or wait until they have nukes?
