Muslim Reformers Exist - But Whose Listening?

Earlier this morning I agreed with The Big Pharoah and said that we need to find out how to identify "reform minded Muslim thinkers," learn how to convince them to speak out often and forcefully, and identify how best to help them effectively communicate their message to the Muslim street. I also said that in order to identify those reform minded Muslim thinkers we are going to need some help from our "reform minded" and "reform thinking" Muslim friends, and asked how do we go about getting this ball rolling.

Well, here is one of those reform minded Muslim thinkers, but apparently there are very few, if any, reform minded Muslim listeners. So how do we get from here (Muslims unwilling to listen) to there (Muslims willing to listen)?
