Danes Burn Mohammed In Effigy 'For A Mohammed-Free Denmark'
... a new evil has arrived in Europe, an evil that lies and kills in the name of their so-called God. An evil that springs from the so-called Prophet Mohammed. Therefore, in our time, it is he who symbolizes evil and it is not just one harvest that will disappear, but all of Western Europe's future that will vanish if this evil is not dispatched to Hekkenfeldt [i.e. Hell, literally the Hekla volcano in Iceland -- BB].A group in Denmark burned an effigy of Mohammed (instead of a witch) at the traditional midsummer festival. Gates of Vienna has the video and the translation of the introduction.Therefore will we burn the so-called Prophet Mohammed, on June 23, 2007, in three nameless places.

Spot the difference between this post and the one below. One threatens, implicitly, to throw all the Muslims in Europe in a volcano. The other threatens directly to kill Salman Rushdie.
Can you spot the difference, morally, between the two? I sure can't.

There is a difference, of course, one is a real and direct threat against a person for expressing free speech, while the other is against - in fact - an ideology. Much could be said about radical Islam needing to be "thrown into the flames" of the history of the Middle Ages."
On the other hand, your point is well taken, however, and neither case belongs in the dialogue of a free speech conducive to taking civilization anywhere but backwards.
