Breaking: Scotland Yard Appeals For Information In London Bomb Car Scare
Breaking via Sky News, people are being warned to stay vigilant after the "massive" car bomb, which could have killed hundreds of people in the iger Tiger nightclub in Piccadilly shortly before 2am., was defused in London's West End. The device, which contained 60 litres of petrol, a large amount of nails and several gas canisters, was found in a Mercedes early this morning. Clearly, had the device detonated, there would have been "significant loss of life."
In a new security alert, Park Lane has been closed to traffic due to a suspect vehicle - a red double-decker bus. The bus is now being reported to have a suspicious link to the car bomb discovered in front of the nightclub - a huge concern to Scotland Yard.

Only a week ago Crusade Media News reported:
"a new jihadi video, made in Kyrgyzstan, that purports to show a "graduation ceremony" of 300 aspiring suicide bombers headed for the West. According to an account of the tape on the ABC News web site, the ceremony was staged on June 9 at a training camp alleged to be operated by the Taliban and Al Qaeda. The video, recorded by a Pakistani journalist, shows groups of about 150 masked men--supposedly suicide bombers assigned to conduct attacks in Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany and the United States.

Nothing about the jihadists surprises me anymore, so sooner or later, surely the nutcases seen in the video Susan refers to will end up on Western streets.
However, in my humble opinion, the crude nature of the bomb in front of the nightclub and the one reportedly found in Hyde Park, is more likely homegrown jihadis than "die-hard" al-Qaeda suicide bombers. This, of course, doesn't make them any less deadly or disgusting.
