Israeli Civilian Executed By Palestinian Terrorists - Apparently "Guilty Of Hitch-Hiking"
Last Sunday, 18 year-old Eliyahu Asheri had been visiting with friends in Gush Etzion, in the West Bank, when he later hitched a ride back to the Ofra Junction. There he was kidnapped iby a Palestinian terrorist cell [Palestinian Resistance Committees (PRC)] and smuggled into Ramallah, taken to a garbage dump and immediately shot in the head at point blank range.
The kidnappers, Naveh said during a press conference at Central Command headquarters in Jerusalem, received tens of thousands of dollars and directions from PRC officials in the Gaza Strip. Asheri's kidnapping, he added, was planned by the cell carefully in advance and was implemented flawlessly. The cell, he said, had from the beginning of the abduction planned to murder Asheri and to negotiate the return of his body.18 year-old Eliyahu Asheri's only "crime" was that he was a Jew, that he existed, and that he was hitchhiking and therefore available for capture by Palestinian Islamothugs, out for money.
The Geneva Convention didn't help Eliyahu Asheri, terrorists don't care about such protections except when they can scream it for their own advantage. They know nothing about human compassion.
Terrorists have a lot going for them, they've got the Geneva Convention and SCOTUS. Eliyahu Asheri had neither one - only the receiving end of a terrorist bullet.
From the article we learn that Eliyahu Asheri's funeral took place at Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in Jerusalem.
